Colin Kenney

Colin Kenney, born and raised outside Toledo, Ohio, grew up immersed in the world of small business through his parents' endeavors—his mother’s home health business and his father’s wealth management practice. This upbringing instilled in him a deep appreciation for the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.

Colin attended an all-boys high school, where he excelled in soccer and lacrosse, and launched a Great Lakes-themed lifestyle clothing brand. At Vanderbilt University, he majored in Human & Organizational Development with a focus on Health and Human Services, minored in Financial Economics, and completed pre-med coursework.

Choosing finance over medicine, Colin worked in healthcare investment banking at Petsky Prunier and Bank of America before joining Linden Capital Partners in Chicago. He is now pursuing his MBA in Healthcare Management at Wharton.

Colin’s internship at Fidelity Memorial Group, a funeral services company, confirmed his passion for small businesses and community impact, steering him towards his goal of operating a search fund.
